UMS SKELDAR launches V-150

UMS SKELDAR , a joint venture between Saab and UMS Aero Group, has announced the launch of a new V-150 unmanned aerial vehicle capable of takeoff and landing vertically (VTOL). The design has the ability to carry multiple payloads not exceeding 42 kg, and a flight time of 2.5 hours, and is powered by heavy fuel. The company targets this coast guard, border patrols, fire departments and drug control agencies. The company is now working to improve the flying time to 4 hours with the load thanks to the amendments that are already being worked on, to be launched in the near future.
