11 / July-2018

Under the auspices of the US Navy, a RoboBoat competition was launched in which 13 schools from 6 countries participated. The competition is based on testing engineering skills through the development of independently controlled boats. It was held from June 18 to 24 in the Daytona Beach area, Florida. This competition is the eleventh. The US Navy has established Office of Naval Research and an organization devoted to independent systems and holds annual competitions for such systems as the association focuses on the current generation placing its focus on a series of such challenges, and the official and arbitrator in this competition says Kelly Cooper : We need such skill because In fact, the market wants to have such systems, and there is also the private sector, such as Amazon, Dominos, and Uber. Such companies are working hard to use independent vehicles that are tasked with bringing the customer to technological satisfaction.

While these companies are making strides towards the independent services of the average consumer, the Naval Administration is looking to use this technology to “make fundamental shifts” in the way the US Navy performs. For the awards and winning teams in this competition, Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia) was the biggest winner of the year, receiving the grand prize of $ 6,000 , and the American Georgia Institute of Technology won the second prize of $ 5,000 . Hagerty High School in Florida ranked third with $ 3,000 , and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida also came in fourth with $ 2,000 , and other educational institutions received lower-value awards including Mexico and India.
