HENSOLDT radar designed to detect any threat to aircraft

HENSOLDT, which provides sensor solutions, has successfully used a special radar system whose mission is to avoid hitting "drone" drones. This sensor aims to improve safety in both military and civilian air traffic. HENSOLDT uses the latest radar technology to detect objects in the aircraft's flight path, providing early warning through its device of any collision threat after careful assessment and calculations. Radar demonstrated its capabilities in a real environment to confirm the results that were previously achieved in ground tests, and this was shown in experimental flights that lasted several hours, to ensure the interaction of the radar device with the "drone".

This radar uses AESA technology to detect and avoid and this technology is known as (active electronic scan matrix), which allows to perform many tasks at the same time, such as monitoring, tracking, data transmission, weather monitoring and enable the detection of objects very quickly, and the company believes that this solution replaces the evaluation Visual with the pilot.

HENSOLDT is one of the world's leading radar devices and operates one of Europe's largest cleanroom production facilities in order to produce the radio-frequency components needed for AESA equipment. Systems of this type of radar are used on board US and German aircraft and frigates, which is a leading technology and innovation company in the field of defense sensor electronics, and is based in Taufkirchen near Munich, and has a workforce of 4,300 employees, and revenues of more than one billion euros annually.
