5g technology remotely controls vehicle fleets


Keolis - developers of independent systems technology announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Ericsson - to use 5G technology to remote control and oversee the fleets of independent vehicles, where the companies for the first time at the exhibition - UITP - global held in Stockholm Visitors to the exhibition were able to remotely control a model of a vehicle more than 15 km away from the control room.



5G technology enables high-speed data transfer with extremely low latency with high reliability, so that the vehicle can be controlled remotely and in real time. 5G technology also improves NTRIP connectivity allowing more precision to control the vehicle to ensure safety.
