Development of agricultural technology in Japan

Yamaha Motor has announced an operational experiment for a standalone agricultural vehicle, which will be piloted in the orchards of Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

The experiment aims to:

• Evaluating the vehicle's basic performance.
• Check the vehicle's driving axes as well as off-road performance in the two gardens.

This initiative is part of “ART for Human Possibilities, Advancing Robotics” which is one of the aspects of Yamaha Motor's long-term vision.
