Autopilot - ROBOpilot successfully completes its first test

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) recently completed a successful two-hour trial flight with "Autopilot - ROBOpilot" in cooperation with DZYNE Technologies . The system was installed by replacing the pilot's seat with the necessary equipment for independent flying. Autopilot flies in the same way as the pilot, and interacts with standard controls due to the investment required to develop new unmanned air systems, the team believes that this type of independent conversion represents a cost-effective option for future UAV systems for ease of installation.
